Hair + scalp
Hair is built from the inside, from the fats your body has on hand.
habb is one cold-pressed seed — Ethiopian, single-origin — rich in the fats the follicle is built from. The card in the box shows what's actually in your bottle, lab-tested batch by batch. One teaspoon every morning.

Smaller evidence base. Honest about it.
The hair research on Nigella sativa is more modest than skin or immune — and we'd rather say so than inflate it.
A 2013 controlled pilot study (n=20)
Tested a 0.5% Nigella sativa essential oil scalp lotion against placebo in women experiencing stress-induced diffuse hair thinning, over three months. Videodermatoscopic analysis showed improvement in hair density and thickness in 70% of treated participants versus 20% in placebo. Zero participants in the treated group showed worsening, versus 50% in placebo. This is a pilot study (n=20, non-randomized) using topical application. It is the best controlled human data in this domain; larger oral RCTs do not yet exist.
Journal of Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery, SCIRP, 2013 →A 2017 cosmeceutical review
Documented antimicrobial activity relevant to scalp environment health and thymoquinone's antioxidant protection of hair follicles from oxidative stress.
Cosmeceutical review, 2017 · PMC5735686 →habb is positioned to nourish — not to promise regrowth. Hair is built from fatty acids, keratin precursors, and a healthy scalp environment. habb delivers the fatty-acid and antioxidant inputs. The rest is your routine.
Why one ingredient, not twelve
The studies measured the oil. We measure ours.
The hair research used measured oil — a specific active-compound percentage. Most cold-pressed bottles on the shelf don't say what's in them. We do, every batch, on the card.
Every habb batch publishes three data points:
Lab-verified. Method-disclosed.
Linoleic 57–61%, oleic 20–21%, palmitic 12–13%. These fatty acids nourish the hair follicle and the scalp environment.
For oxidation and contamination safety.

How to use
One teaspoon, every morning.
From the ceramic spoon. Every bottle ships with one. A second use, supported by the pilot study's topical protocol: warm a few drops in your palms and massage into scalp at night, 30 minutes before washing. Patch-test first. A dedicated habb scalp oil is in the product roadmap for later in 2026.
